MELISSA GRAY, come on down!! YES, IT'S YOU! IT'S YOU!! Yeah, OK, I know you can't see the photo clearly, but the winning name drawn for my 1st CUSTOM SONG prize for my eligible making-of-the-album "donators" is, in fact, the very generous music-lovin' Melissa Gray. And how wild and a little bit cosmic that shortly after pulling her name from the hat, she called me on the phone to chit-chat. And she said "I'm really looking forward to finding out who won the song tonight!" To which I replied "Are you now?" and played quite convincingly dumb. heh heh heh. THANK YOU, MELISSA and CONGRATS to you! All of my "No More Invitations" making-of-the-album donors were eligible to be in this drawing IF they asked me to send a FREE download card of my 1st album "Listening Chair" either to themselves or to someone else they think would enjoy it. And those had to be requested from me by yesterday, May 1st. All of those "donator" names went into the hat tonight and Melissa won.
Melissa has one year to ask me to write her a FREE Custom Song for whichever special person and/or special occasion she sees fit. OR she can choose to give this opportunity to have a custom song written to someone else.
Now....also remember, my dear "donators"....those folks who actually DO use the FREE download cards that I mailed out will be eligible for a 2nd drawing for another Custom Song, but those downloads have to be used by May 10th! And each "donator" who requested that a free download card be mailed---whether they used it themselves or not---is eligible for this 2nd drawing, as well, if used by May 10th.
Everyone but you, Melissa. You won the 1st drawing and we'll take your name out of the hat for the 2nd drawing, but if you gave that free download card away then THAT person can get their name in the 2nd drawing hat! Does that make sense?
Well, there you have it. CONGRATS to Melissa and BEST OF LUCK to those of you who still have a shot in the 2nd drawing happening on May 11th!
