Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

In between recording sessions for my forthcoming album "No More Invitations" (due for release VERY SOON) I've been throwing down some demos for a lullaby collection I hope to complete immediately after my latest album is done.

I'm adding a demo of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" to my Reverbnation player, here on the blog.   I would love to know your thoughts about my simple version of this sweet beloved lullaby, so please add a comment to this post if you have something to say.

Particularly if you have something NICE to say. ;)

That's me on guitar and vocal, with the AMAZING Josh Dodes (rhymes with "Otis") on keys.  Recorded by the AMAZING Robert L. Smith who suggested Josh for this song and made that connection happen for me.

We like this version.  We think it's a keeper.  Do you agree?

Well, if nothing else I hope it helps you drift sweetly off to dream.

  2. Thank you, Melissa!

NOTE TO ALL: Have tried to upload the entire song 3 times to the player and it cuts off the ending every time, so sorry. I hope to fix that somehow. I'd love for everyone to hear the ending, as Josh Dodes did a beautiful outtro that is a bit unexpected.

  7. It's simply lovely. You sing it almost as well now as you did when you were 4 years old - almost...................
